The short version: this website sets no cookies, so there is no cookie banner and nothing for you to accept or refuse. This page explains what it uses instead, and what can arrive from other companies' content. Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website leaves in your browser so that it can recognise it later. Related technologies, such as local storage, keep information in your browser in the same way, without sending it back automatically.

Cookies we set

None. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and nothing that follows you to other websites.

What we keep in your browser instead

Two small items, both there to save you work. Neither is sent to us:

• "My plan" — the experiences you ticked, so the list is still there when you come back.
• An unfinished request — the room, dates and guests you had chosen and, on the day-visit and group forms, the name, email address and phone number you had typed, so that you can pick up where you left off.

Your language is not stored at all: it is part of the address of the page you are on (/en or /pt).

Content from other companies

• Google Maps — the map is only a picture until you tap "Show map". Only then does Google's map load, and only then can Google set its own cookies.
• Google Fonts and the Sanity image service — these deliver the typefaces and the photographs you see. They receive the internet address your browser connects from, but they set no cookies on this site.
• Cloudflare, our host, may set a short-lived security cookie if it has to protect the site from automated attacks. It keeps the site available; it is not used to recognise you or follow you.
• Links out — WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and TripAdvisor are other companies' websites. Once you follow a link, their cookies and their policies apply, not ours.

Managing all of this

You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Clearing ours only means that "My plan" and any unfinished request start again from empty; you can still browse the whole site and send a request.

If we ever add analytics

We would like to know which pages help guests and which do not, so one day we may add visitor analytics. We have not done so. If we do, this page will say which tool it is, what it records and for how long, and a consent notice will ask you first — analytics will not run until you have answered it.
